Is there a dead spot area wherein I cannot track the location of my vehicle?
The TrackMe system relies on the GSM network for real-time tracking. If your vehicle enters a GSM dead spot, the rover will not
transmit information but will still save the location updates internally. This saved data can later be downloaded once GSM
signal is regained.
How much will it cost me every time I need to generate a report from my cellphone and or from my PC?
Standard infotext rates applied when requesting for vehicle location via mobile phone.
Is there a warranty for the TrackMe unit? How many years?
The TrackMe unit has a 1(one) year warranty on factory defects.
In case of damage and repair do we still have to pay for the parts or is it included in the maintenance fee?
Service fees include labor costs and testing only. Replacement parts such as GPS/GSM antenna and other peripherals are charged to
the client.
What can TrackMe do for my family?
TrackMe is a security solution that can ensure the safety of your family. Once installed in your private vehicle, you can
possibly track down and monitor the movement of it as well as the safety of the person inside that vehicle. Other features can be
also be installed, such as Text2Stop, a feature that allows you to remotely disable the vehicle using your cell phone.
Can I install it in any car?
The TrackMe VPS is small and lightweight with very little power requirements which means you can install it in any car, old or
new, big or small., with or without a dashboard!
Can I use any GSM SIM card?
Any GSM SIM card from any GSM network can be used
Can I transfer it to another car?
No. The device is configured to work with only one vehicle. But we can transfer it to another vehicle upon request.
Where is it installed?
For security purposes, the device is hidden inside the cabin and can only be disclosed to the owner upon request.
What is the coverage?
Anywhere in the country, as long as there is GSM coverage. The vehicle owner can track his vehicle anywhere in the country
and abroad as well, as long as owner's phone has international roaming.
